Digital Fire: Connecting With Kids One Computer at a Time

June 29, 2023

Digital Fire is proud to partner with incredible organizations like The Baseball Island Foundation and Lidia's Kids College Fund to help and support children living in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic.

These organizations are dedicated to providing quality education and skills training to the youth in the Dominican Republic who otherwise wouldn’t have these types of opportunities.

Alongside these amazing people, Digital Fire’s donation program assists in furthering education for kids by donating computers and laptops where needed. We are determined to improve the future for amazing kids with so much to offer the world but who lack the technology to build on it and embrace it.

Teaching Future Generations of the Dominican Republic with Technology

Many children grow up in the Dominican Republic training hard to master the skills needed to succeed in Major League Baseball, while neglecting traditional education like many other countries encourage. Many families believe making it big in this popular sport is their way out of poverty.

Sadly, 99.97% of these young players will never make it to the big leagues, setting themselves up for almost certain failure. Without the right tools and much-needed education, the cycle of poverty will continue for generations to come.

Thanks to the Baseball Island Foundation, these kids with big dreams can keep doing what they love while getting the education they need to escape poverty. We are happy to provide computers that will help keep these kids in school, providing them access to the classes, training, and programs they need to succeed if their baseball dreams don’t work out.

Another way Digital Fire is offering assistance to those in need is by donating computers to Lidia's Kids College Fund. This organization helps kids in the Dominican Republic make their way through college with donations such as computers, money, sponsors, and more.

The Digital Fire Donation Program

The Digital Fire Donation Program is specifically designed to assist those in need to have the same opportunities as many other children around the world. Our mission is to provide computers to the less fortunate in the Dominican Republic. We hope to offer many more children the chance to obtain a quality education with the skills, knowledge, and tools to lead them to a brighter, more sustainable future.

Through the assistance of quality organizations, our company has the chance to make a difference in the lives of so many young people. Donating computers and laptops to Las Terrenas communities gives us the privilege of enhancing the quality of life for kids around the world.

While we are proud to announce we have already donated many computers to these great organizations, we are not done. We are excited to continue our mission, changing the future for generations to come and connecting with kids one computer at a time.
