We’ve Gone Green

Digital Fire cares about you, and our environment too

In partnership with OES

Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES), a not-for-profit industry organization, oversees the responsible reuse and recycling of end-of-life electronics through a program that includes hundreds of OES-approved collection sites and numerous other affiliate sites — retail, non-profit, commercial, and municipal — across the province. OES offers a convenient and secure way for Ontario residents and businesses to recycle electronics free of charge.

The Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) you likely paid upon purchasing new electronics ensures your old devices can be recycled or reused. The OES program accepts 44 types of items, including:

  • Display devices, such as monitors and televisions
  • Desktop computers
  • Portable computers
  • Computer peripherals
  • Printing, copying, and multifunction devices
  • Telephone and answering machines
  • Cellular devices and pagers
  • Home theatre in a box (equalizers, amplifiers, speakers, tuners, and turntables)
  • Aftermarket vehicle audio and video devices
  • Image, audio, and video devices home or non-portable
  • Image, audio, and video devices personal or portable

For the complete list of products, please visit the Recycle My Electronics website. You can bring any of the acceptable items to our main office in Oakville and we will make sure they are disposed of and recycled properly.
